Oliver D’Adda is a medical XR software developer working at the intersection of healthcare, immersive technologies, and regulation.
He is an XR software developer working on healthcare applications, integrating regulatory requirements, risk assessment, and accessibility into software design, intended use, and documentation under the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR).
Alongside his development work, Oliver has worked extensively as a physiotherapist and runs a clinical practice focused mainly on neurological rehabilitation in fragile patients. This clinical experience informs his approach to XR development and patient-related risk.
He is currently developing XRehab, an XR rehabilitation software initiative structured from early stages as a Class I medical device.
He has a background in sound engineering, language teaching, and translation, and is bilingual.
